Crystal Defense – Post 1

This is a game that I’m making in my Game Tech 1 course for my final project. I wasn’t given any restraints on this game except that it needs to be a 2-D game.

I decided to make a non-traditional tower defense game where there is only one turret. This turret can move around to intercept enemies coming from all sides. There is a 25% chance that when an enemy is destroyed, it drops a crystal. These crystals increase the turret’s range and damage, so it’s beneficial for the player to stand inside it’s radius. The buffs stack as well, so sometimes letting an enemy closer to you is the better idea in the off change that a crystal will drop.

I have plans to add music, a move UI pointer, and a game over screen.
