My role and responsibilities:

Joined the Serenity Forge team in late 2020 to work on Homestead Arcana. Started working on various systems but eventually found my place in creating tools. There I created various tools for designers and artists to use to improve their workflow and help smooth the transition between large systems in the game. The largest tools/systems I created were a branching dialogue system to allow for node based editing of localized dialogue with VO and a player action tracking system that hooked into a quest system to empower easy creation of tracked objectives and tasks.

After the second half of development I took over as Engineering Lead. I was in charge of being the contact for and directing the external porting, QA, and LQA studios. I spearheaded new testing workflows and worked with all members of the team to manage the backlog of tasks to pass milestones and send out deliverables on time. This role evolved continued past release for our development team as the project came to a close. In the role led engineering efforts for maximum efficiency and team workflow as well as creating and maintaining a library of useful tools and documentation for the entire studio to pull from for future projects.
